    Entry Title: Tractor Driving

Judge Comment: Really fun story, not told all the time. Visuals were great, did a good job with the graphic and explaining the sport/competition and goals. Would like to see more transitions and not as many quotes stacked on top of each other.
  • Place Name: Second Place
Contestant Name: Catawba Ridge High School - CRN-TV
Entry Title: Band Heading to States
Entry Credit: Talia Postel, Cora Carter
Judge Comment: Good natural sound, visuals and variety in visuals. Graphics/lower thirds look good. Told a really good story with student perspective. Avoid saying our so much in VOs.
  • Place Name: Third Place
Contestant Name: Horse Creek Academy - HCA Today
    Entry Title: Charter Sports
    Entry Credit: Evan Fulmer
Judge Comment: Fun angle on a story. Interviews were really good and informative. Felt like the story wasn't paced as well as it could have been and visuals could have been stronger.
  • Place Name: Fourth Place
Contestant Name: Catawba Ridge High School - CRN-TV
Entry Title: Moving up to 5A
    Entry Credit: Talia Postel
Judge Comment: Good story with good sound/visuals. Felt like we could have gone more in depth on the story and paced it better. VOs said our too much and sounded over-written at times.
  • Place Name: Fifth Place
Contestant Name: Tupelo High School - WTHS Media
Entry Title: Outdoor Archery - A New Target
    Entry Credit: Channing Hooper
Judge Comment: Unique story with good (not great) sound bytes. Good visuals and unique stand up at the end. Felt like that could have been weaved in a little better and the shots colored better but really strong piece.
