  • Competition Comment: This was a very challenging competition to judge because all of the entries were very solid grammatically, and each writer did a solid job of storytelling. Moreover, the students all selected engaging, real-world topics and supported their opinions with statistics and multiple sources, while manging to keep their stories very readable. I commend each of the students for their efforts.
