I, admittedly, know nothing about tractor competitions, but by the end of this I could easily describe them. That is the sign of a good piece. I appreciated the inclusion of the natural sound, the graphic was outstanding, and the interviews were appropriate. This could have aired on a professional television station. Very well done.

You did a good job of explaining how the archery program was new, and then focused on the one archer. I thought that was a clever way of framing the story and led to a well-written script. Interviewing the coach was successful and he was able to tell the audience more about the program. Lots of good shots and camera angles, too. Great work!

The great video from her at practice and then the additional historic video from competitions and when she was younger really helped add to her story. The script was easy to follow and I was able to understand more about this gymnast by the end. I thought the interview with mom was great – good thinking to interview her, too. Great work!

The issues surrounding charter schools and sports is certainly a big one in South Carolina, and the reporter did a good job of explaining what is a very complex issue. Great job getting interviews with all the important people involved in this story. Great work!
Competition Comment: Great job to all. The "tractor driving" story was really excellent.
