Camp Director Jason Calanog reviews above water footage with a swimmer. Calanog, who also serves as Carolina Swim’s Associate Head Coach, aims to create a fun, organized environment for swimmers while helping them improve their technique. “The biggest key with this generation is keeping it simple and giving them direct feedback,” Calanog stated.

Students attending the Gamecock Swim Camps not only have a chance to learn from professional college coaches and former South Carolina swimmers, but also to fully experience life as a student-athlete. They experience the residential aspect of campus life, staying in the dorms and interacting from athletes attending other sports clinics. They train in the Carolina Natatorium, USC’s recently renovated, state-of-the-art pool complex.
